DISCOVER WHO WE ARE

At Homeward for Heroes, our "treks" are unique over-landing adventures designed to bring veterans and first responders together in the great outdoors. Starting in the scenic Pacific Northwest, and expanding as demand grows, these treks lead participants to off-road destinations like undeveloped hot springs, romantic getaways, wine tours, ghost towns, old mines, and untouched wilderness. Each trek is carefully planned by our team to cater to the needs of the group, ensuring an efficient and enjoyable experience. Beyond the adventure, these journeys provide a powerful opportunity for veterans dealing with PTSD and other challenges to heal, bond, and find support within the Homeward community. It’s a chance to reconnect with themselves and others, building friendships that last long after the trek ends.

What We Stand For

We believe in honor, resilience, and the power of connection.

At Homeward for Heroes, we stand shoulder-to-shoulder with those who’ve served, offering a community where every story matters and no one has to bear their burdens alone.

We value loyalty, integrity, and the unbreakable bonds formed through shared experience, whether it’s over a campfire or in the toughest moments of life.

Together, we find strength, purpose, and the will to keep moving forward.

How We Help

We believe giving back to those who’ve sacrificed is vital for healing.

In times past, many served, and returning soldiers had friends who truly understood their experiences. But after Vietnam, that sense of connection faded, leaving veterans to face their struggles alone.

That’s why we’re here. While camping and overlanding are the setting, our mission goes far deeper: to be there for those who simply need to share what they’ve gone through, past and present.

Through outdoor adventures, veterans, first responders, and their spouses find bonding and support. And the impact is profound - within a day, you can see a renewed outlook in their smiles, their conversations, and their spirit.

Our commitment doesn’t end with each trek. Guided by our motto, “No One Fights Alone,” we keep the connection alive through follow-ups and continued support, because the journey to healing is ongoing.
